Wanted # 1

I've recently just thought of a blog series I could do at the beginning and end of every month which would contain 3 things I want but just cannot get my hands on and it's called Wanted! (It's not very original, I know, but it's all I can come up with right now HAHA!)

So for this week, I've been absolutely in love with a few things I've been seeing these in different online shops around and I really want them:

One day, I tell you, one day I will get my hands on these!!

Ringing

Ringing isn't only the sound of a telephone, in my vocabulary, its stocking up on rings--and lots of it!!

I have absolutely no idea why but I am absolutely in love with rings.

They just give your outfit an awesome twist and they can help make your outfit. Some rings will help you look more punk rock-ish, some make them look grunge-y, some make them look even more classy.

Due to my subscription to Romwe's shop, they e-mailed me a $7 discount coupon code to use on my first purchase and my mom got me one of these bad boys!

Specifically, this golden one!

Although I will probably receive it between sometime next week until sometime in June, I am still extremely excited to finally wear it!!

You should check out their shop by either clicking their ad on the side of my blog or by typing in romwe.com on your browser's address bar.

Cheers to Romwe!

(These photos are not mine, I got them all from Romwe's site.)

DIY: Bleached and Distressed Denim Shorts

Sick of your old Denim Shorts? Tired of wearing the same shorts over and over? Do you want something new in your closet?

Here's a DIY for Bleached and Distressed Denim Shorts!

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • a pair of shorts
  • bleach (tons of it!)
  • scissors
  • laundry soap
  • a shallow bucket

Step 1: Pick out an old pair of shorts.
Be sure you're ready for the consequences of how it will look like afterwards.

Step 2: Cut the bottom part of each leg until you reach your desired length.

Step 3: Cut small slits on different parts of your shorts.
Be mindful of the areas you are exposing once you cut the slits. (The more random areas you cut, the better it'll look!)

Don't forget the back side too!

Step 3: Sandpaper the tiny slits to get them bigger/more distressed-looking.

Step 4: Bleach them for an hour.

I used Zonrox Bleach for mine.

Check on them every 10 minutes to know if you need more bleach.

After 10 minutes, my shorts showed immediate result!

After 60 minutes and 6 small bottles of Zonrox...
Step 5: Wash them!

Step 6: Hang them up to dry and wear them!!

Have fun with your new shorts!!

Five Eighteen

Last April, a friend of mine, Athena, taught me how to make my own collar necklace and I absolutely fell in love with the idea. So I asked my dad if I could have one of his old shirts and cut the collar right off (including the button).

I've been wearing this collar-slash-necklace for quite some time now and I plan on cutting out more collars once my dad gives me more of his shirts!

Three Cheers For Baseball!

A few months back, we went to this outlet store for sports jerseys and I absolutely fell in love with this Baltimore Orioles one!

Orioles Shirt: Outlet
In shirt: Just G.
Shorts: Red Girl
Shoes: Toms

I swear, once I get back in Pampanga and get more money, I will purchase another one for myself.

Fashion Garage

My cousin and I were pretty bored one summer day and my aunt has this store on FB and she needed someone to model some of the clothes and of course my cousin and I pretty much jumped on the offer since we didn’t really have anything else to do.
We had a photo shoot for 2 days and even though it isn’t a real photo shoot (and I was still sporting a huge pouch under my bellybutton), it was still loads of fun.
Here’s the teaser ad from her facebook page

Project Araw

Last February, I was lucky enough to be part of a music video by a pretty well-known band in the Philippines, Callalily. Project Araw is an education advocacy in partnership of NOKIA and the ABS-CBN Foundation. Their song “Atin Nang Simulan” is all about how big a change a person do with just a small action.

Sadly, I was only a part of the first skit but uring the shoot, I really had the time of my life and I met some new friends too. I would really love to film more soon if ever I get the chance again.

T-Mobile's Sidekick

I am a pretty gadget-y kind of girl. I love getting my hands on new gadgets, being able to fully explore them, finding out some awesome features by clicking this and that.
I for one am a fan of keypads and I never got into the whole touch phone craze (although I do have my eyes set on an ipod touch and I am planning to buy one when I get the money) and I prefer to stick to all keypad phones. I currently own a Blackberry Curve 8520 and my aunt just gave me my very own Sidekick LX!

It’s not really brand new. It used to be my aunt’s phone but she sold it to me because she already has another phone. I am actually very ecstatic that I got this phone. I’ve always wanted this phone ever since I saw Hilary Duff sporting one and I’ve always adored how it swivels when you open it.
But to every bright side, there is a pain in the ass.
The downside is that I don’t get to use it to it’s fullest. I am prohibited to use any Instant Messaging server, receive Email and download anything from the catalog. Surprisingly, Bluetooth is working very well and I can receive and send files to every phone I’ve tried (e.g. Nokia, Blackberry)
I’ve only had it for 3 days and I’ve already found out quite a lot from it and I’ve figured out a few “cheats” for it.
None-the-less, I love it and I’m glad I have it! I’m definitely holding onto this one.
(Sorry for the bad quality. My camera’s kind of hibernating at the moment and I haven’t gotten around to buying batteries for it just yet.)

Cutting Edge

Yesterday my cousin, Rissa and I were playing with our hair curling and snipping a few parts off here and there. She suddenly told me that she wanted a different hairstyle to welcome school year 2012-2013 and we talked about it for quite some time and she told me that she would like to get full bangs!
I for one am a huge fan of full bangs. I already cut my hair to get full bangs back when I was 14 and I absolutely adored them! Also, we’ve been watching New Girl a lot lately and we’ve pretty much grown fond of Jess’ and Cece’s full bangs so we felt that it would be a nice change for her and so I gave her full bangs.
After a few snips here and there, the outcome was pretty much what I expected to be
And I am pretty happy to say that even she likes her new ‘do! Cheers for the incoming school year!

Hello, Blogspot!

Lately I’ve been switching back and forth between my tumblr blog and this and I am yet to make a decision as to what blog I will be using.
As of right now, I am planning on using this blog due to my lack of interest in my tumblr blog. I am pretty excited to start an almost new part in my life which is stage 3 of my High school life and it will start real soon! (This June, to be exact.)
I currently have my eyes set on a few schools already for college and my parents have already given me their permission for it. I am quite excited to see what will happen in the near future but as of right now
