Wanted # 1

I've recently just thought of a blog series I could do at the beginning and end of every month which would contain 3 things I want but just cannot get my hands on and it's called Wanted! (It's not very original, I know, but it's all I can come up with right now HAHA!)

So for this week, I've been absolutely in love with a few things I've been seeing these in different online shops around and I really want them:

One day, I tell you, one day I will get my hands on these!!

Ringing

Ringing isn't only the sound of a telephone, in my vocabulary, its stocking up on rings--and lots of it!!

I have absolutely no idea why but I am absolutely in love with rings.

They just give your outfit an awesome twist and they can help make your outfit. Some rings will help you look more punk rock-ish, some make them look grunge-y, some make them look even more classy.

Due to my subscription to Romwe's shop, they e-mailed me a $7 discount coupon code to use on my first purchase and my mom got me one of these bad boys!

Specifically, this golden one!

Although I will probably receive it between sometime next week until sometime in June, I am still extremely excited to finally wear it!!

You should check out their shop by either clicking their ad on the side of my blog or by typing in romwe.com on your browser's address bar.

Cheers to Romwe!

(These photos are not mine, I got them all from Romwe's site.)

DIY: Bleached and Distressed Denim Shorts

Sick of your old Denim Shorts? Tired of wearing the same shorts over and over? Do you want something new in your closet?

Here's a DIY for Bleached and Distressed Denim Shorts!

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • a pair of shorts
  • bleach (tons of it!)
  • scissors
  • laundry soap
  • a shallow bucket

Step 1: Pick out an old pair of shorts.
Be sure you're ready for the consequences of how it will look like afterwards.

Step 2: Cut the bottom part of each leg until you reach your desired length.

Step 3: Cut small slits on different parts of your shorts.
Be mindful of the areas you are exposing once you cut the slits. (The more random areas you cut, the better it'll look!)

Don't forget the back side too!

Step 3: Sandpaper the tiny slits to get them bigger/more distressed-looking.

Step 4: Bleach them for an hour.

I used Zonrox Bleach for mine.

Check on them every 10 minutes to know if you need more bleach.

After 10 minutes, my shorts showed immediate result!

After 60 minutes and 6 small bottles of Zonrox...
Step 5: Wash them!

Step 6: Hang them up to dry and wear them!!

Have fun with your new shorts!!

Five Eighteen

Last April, a friend of mine, Athena, taught me how to make my own collar necklace and I absolutely fell in love with the idea. So I asked my dad if I could have one of his old shirts and cut the collar right off (including the button).

I've been wearing this collar-slash-necklace for quite some time now and I plan on cutting out more collars once my dad gives me more of his shirts!

Three Cheers For Baseball!

A few months back, we went to this outlet store for sports jerseys and I absolutely fell in love with this Baltimore Orioles one!

Orioles Shirt: Outlet
In shirt: Just G.
Shorts: Red Girl
Shoes: Toms

I swear, once I get back in Pampanga and get more money, I will purchase another one for myself.
